Meet the Team!
BeyondBounds 2021 is proudly presented by the students of the graduate course Digital Storytelling: Piloting, taught by Professor Chiara Bernasconi. All team members are in the Masters of Arts Arts Administration and Policy Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and range from first-years to graduating students. Over the course of the semester we have been engaging with questions of digital art spaces, accessibility, and technological programming. Read a little bit about us below, where you will find fun facts, backgrounds, and our opinions on one of the most pertinent questions of our time: does pineapple belong on pizza?
Chiara is an interactives and film producer. Passionate about participatory events, experience design, now teaching online and running after two crazy kids. In her free time she likes to explore tide pools
Favorite song: dance parties at home with the kids! Pineapple on pizza? No! Michal builds technology products that help artists make a living out of their creative practice. In his free time he cooks and hosts dinners.
Favorite song: 745 Sticky; 100 Gecs' Pineapple on pizza? Yes! Gabriela is a colorful Caribbean Latina that is interested in centering spaces and forms of storytelling for BIPOC and queer voices. In her free time she takes care of her plants, does small art things, and collects funky earrings.

Alivé is a Mexican art historian and curator of modern art and contemporary food-art practices, pursuing the Dual MA degree at SAIC. Interested in critical curatorial studies and the intersections of art, gastropolitics, & community engagement. In her free time she: cooks, sleeps, bakes, pet cat, repeat.

Ruby is a first-year Arts Administration MA student who enjoys things in excess, like drinking large amounts of coffee, daydreaming too intensely, and talking about being from the Great City Of New Yawk™ too much. In her free time she romanticizes pre-covid socializing and spends disproportionate amounts of money on theater.

With an interest in public art and community engagement, Justice Henderson is an emerging art administrator, art historian, and artist pursuing the dual degree in Arts Administration and Policy and Modern and Contemporary Art History. In her free time she likes to paint, journal, and play Among Us.

Clayton Kennedy is an arts administrator and art historian who earned his BA in Art History and Visual Culture from Michigan State University in 2020. In his free time he tries cooking new things and looks after all his houseplants.
